Furthermore, Heb 11 begins with saying, “By faith we understand that the universe was created at God’s command” – hence, without first accepting God’s Creation of the world, we cannot live a life of faith.
God ‘Elohim’ created the world to revolve around Him. So in every part of our life, He must be at the center; He must take rule. Wherever His Spirit does not hover & fill, there will only be chaos (Gen 1:2).
Not accepting the Creation will affect the way we understand Christ’s redemption & our spirituality. The purpose of Christ’s coming is to restore mankind to the image of God, and bring the world back to how it should be in the beginning.
If we are created in God’s image, it means we have all the potential to be like God. Becoming like God – living like Him and manifesting His power – should thus be normal for the Christian.
