OUR PASTOR

REV EVAN SEAH

Rev Evan Seah

While reading the Book of Acts, God placed in the heart of young Ps Evan a longing for a church like that of the Early Church. That longing led him to Korea in 2007, where he met Rev Kim, the pastor of All Nations Church, who proclaimed about the glorious Church being raised up in the end times. Following that encounter, he left his pastoral position in a denominational church to pursue the vision of such a church.

From a young age, Ps Evan was actively involved in ministry to youth & students, which included 6 years of involvement with the Fellowship of Evangelical Students (FES) as an undergraduate. His time with the FES established him firmly in exposition of the Bible (which prepared him for his preaching ministry ahead), as well as challenged him to serve God full-time.

At the age of 27, while on a mission trip to Cambodia, Ps Evan had a โ€˜bushfireโ€™ encounter with God which confirmed his calling to full-time ministry. Thereafter, he took on leadership of his home churchโ€™s youth ministry as a full-time youth worker, while pursuing theological studies at Trinity Theological College, Singapore, graduating with a Master of Divinity (MDiv).

In 2009, he was ordained by the Bishop of the Seoul Annual Conference, the Korean Methodist Church. The year after, he set off to prepare to start a church that would become Crown of Life Church.

Ps Evan is happily married to Dawn Chua, and together with their son, Samuel, they give their lives wholeheartedly to serving God in the church.
